CLIENT'S BRIEF 

Generali merged their sales companies Generali Versicherungen and Volksfürsorge in the beginning of 2015. On the one hand a new, uncertain situation for the staff unfolded due to the changes, on the other hand a totally new sales force was created with around 5.000 sales agents and great opportunities for each of them. The brief consisted of two parts: to organize a high-class and memorable kick-off event at the LANXESS arena in Cologne and to give the sales agents their first experience of this new power and explain to them the benefits of the new structure and provide them with an overview of the new strategy and products. 

 

CREATIVE IDEA 

The 2015 annual kick-off meeting of the Generali Versicherungen in Germany  showcased once again concept X’s talent for impressive, large-scale events. The agency’s Event Unit transformed the LANXESS arena in Cologne into a gigantic, polygonal synthesis of the arts. On three stages with projection screens totaling 654 m2, they created three-dimensional settings for up to 200 artists interacting with 20 movie trailers and 3D animations specifically created for the occasion. They also took on the challenging logistics and found accommodation for some 4,500 Generali sales representatives, booking almost every available hotel room in the Cologne area as well as in neighboring Düsseldorf, and of course making sure everyone got home safely the next morning.
