A solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the professional award of event marketing and integrated communications Best Experience Marketing Awards! was held in Moscow on February 16, 2019.
The prizes were awarded for high achievements in the implementation of the brightest and most successful events and live communication projects in Russia and the CIS.
Expert jury of bema! award comprised of over 80 marketing directors and top specialists in external and internal communications had identified the best projects in 29 categories, including special ones.
The honorary prize for contribution to the development of the special events industry in Russia was awarded to Nadia and Andrey Nasonovsky and whole team of CSA (Ceremonies Staging Agency), producers of the Sochi 2014 Olympic ceremonies.
The prize ICONIC EVENT was awarded off the competition program to the project "Theater of the Great War" implemented by the agency "Event center" of Be Brand Group.

"Qatar in Russia 2018" project aimed at immersing visitors in the atmosphere of the state of Qatar, introducing the rich history and culture of the state and its role in the world history of football, as well as demonstrating the spirit of progress and life on the cusp of cutting-edge technologies of modern-day Qatar. The project was a fundamentally new, integrated approach to the process of presenting a host country of the future World Cup. Preserving the feeling of a local atmosphere, while implementing on a large scale, and using advanced technologies, in order to reach the maximum audience.
This year all the finalist projects were of the same good level. It was very difficult for experts to make a decision, there were hot discussions and numerous questions and clarifications. Assessments of the prize-winners who took the first three prizes in almost all categories differ by tenths of points. Therefore, it can be said that all of them have organized really good events.
The results of the expert voting were independently audited by the Director General of the Capital audit and evaluation center Tatyana Efimova. The full list of winners is published on the official website.
The Best Experience Marketing Awards festival which was held this year has strengthened its reputation and raised the ante of industry projects. Due to a thoughtful and honest voting system, efficient organization and business creative community more and more experts become ambassadors of bema!.
bema! festival is a big event in the event marketing industry, which sets the tone for the whole industry for the year ahead. This year the level of participants was very high, and it was difficult and exciting to choose the winners. We are glad that such events as bema! promote the development of the event industry. I would like to wish the organizers and participants of the festival further advance, wonderful projects and progress!
The business program of the festival was held in SAP Digital Leadership Center. The educational part of bema! was comprised of panel discussions, practical workshops and seminars. These activities have identified trends for the next year and gave participants the opportunity to improve their soft skills.
The agencies were able to test the skills in development of effective presentations on the same day in a unique pitching format. Participation in the jury of the bema.pitch allows customers to significantly save time on searching and meeting new artists. This year the choice was made by representatives of MTS, LUKOIL, Pfizer, Toyota, Alfa-Bank, Yandex and other companies.
This year the award expert council, as well as the bema.pitch jury and panel discussions were attended by 115 customers, directors and senior managers in marketing, PR, internal communications and procurement. In the process we have set ourselves the task to invite experts from different areas of business (IT, FMCG, DIY, auto, pharmacy, real estate, etc.); to present for the assessment only nominations relevant to their experience; to invite persons who make decisions or influence decision-making. We also try to ensure that the expert council, educational programs and pitching were represented by different people. We have succeeded this year! Soon we will gather respected experts again to get feedback and set new professional goals for bema!
